Annegré Bosman is next to photojournalist; filmmaker, film producer and founder of By Nature Films Foundation. Bosman is driven by an insatiable curiosity to explore and tell the stories beneath the surface.

After studying journalism, founding film production company Pluk Media and working in the TV broadcasting industry for more than 15 years she wanted to bring new perspectives and deeper public understanding to challenging topics such as Nature and Wildlife Conservation, Climate Change, Human Rights with a special focus on Women’s Rights and that of Indigenous Cultures. Bosman travels to the most challenging corners of the world developing her film projects. She chooses risk over limits, not accepting the walls some live with all the time. In her films centred around injustice and conflicts from Europe to South Sudan, Malawi, Gambia, Suriname, Bonaire, Curacao, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, Indonesia and the Himalayas of Nepal. 

Previous credits include – the documentary Wildlife Savers, unsung heroes – that won the Flamingo Conservation Award at the Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam.

She has worked with all of the major broadcasters such as NPO 2 and 3, RTL4, SBS6, AT5, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild and countless independent production companies and NGO’s such as the World Wide Fund for Nature, Doctors without Borders, Plan International, African Parks, Greenpeace, Elephant Transit Home, CSFI, Shipstern C&MA, Upaya Zen Center, Pende Foundation, Dutch Postcode Lottery, Fier!, Free a Girl, A-Film, Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, Municipality Amsterdam, Erasmus University Rotterdam and various Nature and Wildlife Conservation organizations.
